more details Below is our Guestbook.... we’d love to hear from you a little about us..... St. John the Evangelist is the Parish Church of South Bank;which is a small town very near to Middlesbrough on the NorthEast coast of the United Kingdom. The foundation stone was laid on the feast day of Ss. Simon and Jude (28th November 1893); the Church took two years to build and was consecrated on 28th November 1895 by Archbishop MacLagen.Surviving two World Wars the church remains to this day as a beacon of hope to its Community and as an assurance of God’s love for his people. Amidst the flux of Urban Parish life this Church dedicated to St. John the Evangelist continues to witness to the Gospel and the teachings of Christ.
